addition to the TTeC conference programme there will be arranged a
number of workshops (workgroup meetings). Workshops provide an
opportunity to discuss areas of special interest with like-minded
researchers and practitioners. All registered
TTeC participants have access to these workshops, unless otherwise is
mentioned. Please note that all workshops have a limited amount of
participants.

Workshop on Validation of Medical Image Processing Systems
The aim of this workshop is to shape a concrete strategy for the
next steps in building such a validation platform, including probably
an application for funding by the EC as network of excellence and/or an
integrated project, on basis of a Puplic Private Partnership (PPP)
approach.
Danish-Norwegian Workshop on ehealth consumer trends
The aim of the workshop is to present the results of the survey from
the Danish and Norwegian population, focusing on similarities and
differences between the two Nordic countries represented in the survey.
Further the aim is to discuss the future actions, like the next survey
which will happen in spring 2007 and expansion of the survey to more
countries.
Optimal user experience of telecare services ETSI
STF299 invites representatives from all telecare stakeholders to
this workshop to discuss and express their opinion on design guidelines
to make telecare more acceptable and more readily used. The workshop
will ensure important input to the task force at an early stage, and
help to focus its recommendations to the needs of the stakeholders. A
résumé of the discussion will be mailed to the participants after the
workshop.
INTERLIFE workshop
The major objective of the workshop is to broaden the user
base by attracting individuals that will evaluate the INTERLIFE
services during final deployment. This is a very important activity
both for demonstrating INTERLIFE benefits to a wider market as well as
for evaluating all aspects of service & content delivery.
Nordic Workshop on eHealth in Elderly Care
The
purpose of this workshop is to gather relevant eHealth organizations
and -actors in the Nordic countries to create a network and to discuss
the potensial for a Nordic research and development proposal within FP7.
eHealth in development: Policy meets Practice
The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of eHealth as a tool for
Norwegian development and aid policy in terms of focus areas,
partnerships and funding mechanisms. The target group are policy makers
within development and aid, funding agencies, project owners, NGOs and
other institutions.
