In this conference we want to prepare ourselves for the future. Future perspectives need to be based on knowledge: that knowledge comes from looking at the past and to the present. What valuable knowledge have we gained? What are the facts and trends that will determine our future? Today's multidisciplinary working environments, the increase of sub-specializations, the need for interdisciplinary cooperation, and internationalization make it vital to understand problems and to create awareness of challenges perceived by others.
This conference is a platform for contributors to present their research /work and it is also a meeting place for those interested in exploring the future of telemedicine and eHealth. We challenge all contributors to use this as an opportunity to envision their professional views of the world beyond tomorrow.
